When less is more

The tree is decorated but no gifts under it yet. Our family has decided to have an exchange gift instead of the usual gift giving. Cost-cutting in a very subtle manner ;) This is something I have been advocating for a long time. The family is growing and each of us has some financial challenges coming his way. The more matured ones have resisted for as long as I can remember but perhaps now everybody is ready to spend less and be more creative in gift giving. Besides as they say it's not the price tag but the thought.

That is actually cheaper. :) We do exchange gift too but within my group of friends only.

My fiancé’s mom already set up the Christmas tree...finally. But how I wish I set up my own Christmas tree, I wish I have more time.

That exchange gift is a nice idea, when I was living with my uncle, I have to buy a gift for all including their friends who spend Christmas with them.

Dec 24 kami naglalagay ng gifts sa Christmas tree kasi may nangungupit ng regalo dito pag masyadong maaga. hahaha!

Vacation over

It's kinda hard to get up early again after 2 weeks of staying up late.I've started taking the girls early to bed and of course, they're awake at around 6h30. My husband on the other hand has started working and I think he misses his late mornings. Now it's back to normal sched again. Santa

He's everywhere and there's no way one can avoid him. Shopping centers, sidewalks, balconies! I have yet to see one up on the chimney.
